History of Prosperity Heights and the Six Families

Prosperity Heights is a neighborhood that recently opened up for families who want a new life. The only catch was they had $20,000 to buy land, build a house, furnish it, and still have money left for other expenses such as bills. Each family had to have the head of house write a history of his or her family before moving in and write weekly updates on their life in Prosperity Heights. The only other catch was that their family had to live in Prosperity Heights through five generations and their existing children will not count towards the five generations. While many single Sim families moved here, the head of the neighborhood noticed six families that were not single Sims or recently married couples. Here are their initial bios as written by the head of house.

The Robertses
Number of Sims: 6
Age range: elder to toddler
History told by: Rylie Roberts
History:
My son, Gainell, recently lost his wife to a battle with cancer shortly after the birth of my last granddaughter, Tara. My other grandchildren, fraternal twin teens Brooke and Hunter. My husband died few years before Tara's birth. Gainell quit his job after his wife died to stay home with the kids. I decided that I could not have my son and only money maker of the family wasting away at home and so I asked him if we moved to Prosperity Heights since he had wanted to, then would he get a job. He agreed and so we packed up and moved here.

The Thomases
Number of Sims: 4
Age range: elder to toddler
History told by: Aimee Thomas
History:
I took my three grandchildren in after their parents decided that they were unable to raise them financially. The twins Kori and Nicholas had just been born and Lucius was 8 when I took them in. My little house could handle two babies and a child. But now that the twins are toddlers and Lucius is a teen, my house was just too small. I didn't have much money, so getting $20,000 and having a house over my grandkids' heads is the reason we decided to move to Prosperity Heights.

The Kirkmans
Number of Sims: 6
Age range: elder to toddler
History told by: Kane Kirkman
History:
My only daughter, Victoria, and her husband, Daniel, took me in after my wife died five years back. It was a hard adjustment seeing as they had just had twins, Amanda and Elise. A couple of years ago, Victoria and Daniel decided they were ready for another child and had Patrick. However, the economy in our city took a pretty bad turn and it ended up with Daniel losing his job. Daniel decided that there was no point trying to find a job in that city and so we relocated here to Prosperity Heights.

The Davisons
Number of Sims: 2
Age range: elder to teen
History told by: Nick Davison
History:
My eldest child and only daughter, Emily, got pregnant with her husband soon after marriage before either were ready. She had been on birth control and for some reason it failed. The marriage didn't last much longer and soon Emily was an unwed mother of an infant. She moved back in with me and my now departed wife, Krissy. A few years later, when Emily's daughter, Lily, was a toddler, Emily died in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. About five years after Emily's death, Krissy passed away at 90 of old age. The house we lived in for so many years held so many bad memories. Lily and I tried to live in the house, but we recently decided to move here to Prosperity Heights to start a new life.

The Halls
Number of Sims: 2
Age range: adult to child
History told by: Ann Hall
History:
I am recently divorced as my husband decided he didn't want to help me raise Natalie. He said he had "commitment" problems and could deal with being married, but having a kid made it too permanent for him. I really don't want to find a husband, but for Natalie's sack I'm moving here to Prosperity Heights with the hope of finding mister right.

The Adamses
Number of Sims: 5
Age Range: elder to child
History told by: Owen Adams
History:
When my son's wife left him a few years ago, he was heart broken. Jon truly thought that Heather was the right woman for him. They had even had two children together. Mike, now a teenager, and Ginny, a kid, were reminders to him of a lost love. However, he decided that he should move back in with my wife, Kim, and I in order to piece his life back together. He has enjoyed having us around to talk to and to help raise his kids. We decided to move here in order to move into a much smaller community than where we had raised Jon. Jon agreed to move with us so that Mike and Ginny could remain close to their grandparents.

Sorry for such a long post, but I felt that the scenario the families were in required some form of background before I posted weekly updates.
