Raising the Bank Account

Grandma Aimee invited over Kane Kirkman after we had gone to school. I knew those two were in love, but did they have to go and kiss in the front yard?




Mr. Kirkman and Grandma sure are quite romantic. When ever they are over, they can't help but giving each other back rubs and admiring each other and kissing and hugging.




Grandma then proposed engagement to Mr. Kirkman. He said yes. I know Grandma will be glad to have another husband in her life and knows that he will be able to bring in money for us.




Mr. Kirkman then moved in with us. He knew he would be more useful here than if Grandma moved to his house. I'm glad he did move here. I'm not sure Lucius would have been able to support all three of us with his pay.




They then made the first use of the double bed that was bought. I'm glad for Grandma. She hasn't been this happy in ages. I'm sure she wishes our parents were able to raise us so that we all would have a childhood.




Christy Stratton was over that day. I was put in charge of helping to keep the house clean. I helped out by taking the trash out. Nicholas was also helping me, but he was grabbing a quick bite to eat.




Lucius had over a girl from school. I don't think that Tosha Go is Lucius's perfect girl. I hope he finds a girl before he gets out of University. A letter had shown up saying that all kids in Prosperity Heights must attend University unless there are extrinuating circumstances.




Lucius snagged his first kiss with Tosha. I really do hope he has explained to Tosha his situation. Though, judging by what Tosha has told me, I know she knows she isn't the one who will marry Lucius.




I played with one of the neighborhood dogs that walked by. I am fully aware that there are a ton of stray dogs in the neighorhood. I hope some of them get adopted some day.




One of the neighborhood boys, Hunter, had come over. Hunter is one of the better boys. Interested in girls, but smart enough to only have one girl. I'm sure Lucius and Hunter will get along.




Mr. Kirkman and Grandma taught Nicholas and I how to study. I'm sure our parents would have been proud of us. I wish I could remember them or at least meet them.




It was my birthday that night. However, there was no money for a party, so we got to grow up with just a birthday cake at home with no friends over. We also had the cutting of the cake pretty late, so not many people would have wanted to come over anyways.




Nicholas grew up into a not so good looking outfit so he went to hunt for better clothes. We didn't have the money to get him new clothes.




Nicholas did find an outfit to wear. Nicholas and I are pretty close. That might be more due to the fact that we have a fair amount in common than the fact that we are twins.




Lucius and I are also pretty close. Lucius and Grandma pretty much raised us so he is a father figure to Nicholas and I. I know we are only siblings, but it is hard to shake the fact that he is a father figure to me.




As I am going to be the heiress of this house, I decided that I need to learn how to cook. I really feel that I should learn the skills needed to be a good mother before I have the responsibility of being one.




Mr. Kirkman and I are getting closer as the days go on. I hope we remain close and that Nicholas opens up to him as a father figure, too. I know I am.




I think Lucius found the girl in Lily Davison. I think she is the one he is destined to marry when he grows up. I am so glad for him. Lily is an heiress. Though, her family wasn't too much better than ours, he'll have the money that she and her grandfather have saved up. I hope the same for Nicholas.




Here is what the house looks like after this week. We haven't been able to do much only having the jobs we do and even then we are jumping jobs to take advantage of the bonuses we get when we are promoted.
