I was able to furnish the house we bought with $20,000 fairly well. We all had a bed and had all of the necessities to live in the house. We might not have many amenities, but we will soon earn the money to do so.
My son, Mike, really enjoys reading even though he is not a knowledge seeker. One of our neighbors came over, Kane Kirkman. My parents, Owen and Kim, really enjoyed having company their age over.
My parents, Ginny, and I do enjoy spending time outside a lot nowadays. Mike does too, but he was spending today gaining skills he will need when he becomes a father. I miss doing these kinds of things with my ex, Heather, but I suppose I do need learn to stop living in the past.
Mike brought home a girl one day named Brooke Roberts. She's one of the neighbors kids. Mike really enjoys her company, even if they are only friends at this time. I wouldn't be surpised if they ended up boyfriend and girlfriend. It reminds me of when I first met Heather back in my college days. I really do miss her.
Ginny brought home Orlando Bertini, a friend from school, one day. I really like it that Mike and Ginny have made new friends here instead of just sitting around missing their old friends or racking up a phone bill calling their old friends.
Mike enjoys playing with his younger sister. I really love how close those two are. It probably comes from during the divorce proceedings a few years ago when I was more interested in keeping custody of them and other more selfish things.
Brooke and Mike did eventually become boyfriend and girlfriend. I really feel happy for Mike. I've heard that Brooke is going to be the head of her house when she becomes an adult. That means that he will be more likely to have a good future when he grows up.
Mike and Brooke had their first kiss with each other. It reminded me so much of Heather and when we had our first kisses with each other. I really need to move on with my life and stop remembering my past life with Heather in Sim City.
Ginny greeted Kori Thomas as she was walking down the street. She is slightly younger than Ginny, but close to her in age. I know those two will be friends but their age difference will probably keep them from being best friends. At least not until they are much older and it is more common.
Mike also greeted a neighbor walking by, Lucius Thomas. Kori's older brother coincedentally. Those two were in the same age range and I believe that they will one day become best friends.
As the week wore down there was enough money to upgrade the house some. I hope next week is as fruitful as this week was.

Wow Jon really needs to move past Heather. I hope he can. All the kids are cute and I love it when siblings play together. Boy I hope they can get some more spending more next week.
